Hi. Playlists are the cool thing to post about and I wanna be cool, so he we go:
White Noise- An Electric Storm
An overall pleasant, catchy record with plenty of hints of very strange, other worldly chaos. This album paved the way with tape manipulation, use of the first British synthesizer, and various recording/layering techniques that even bands nowadays don't pay attention to with the ease of technology. For the time this came out and with the equipment used, this album really says a lot.
Friend/roommate Burger has been overhearing this album in my room for days now. He would simply review this album as "Sucks. Sounds like can openers."
Harry Partch- The World of Harry Partch
At first listen, this album is very, very goofy. Second listen too really. I have to be honest, this is not something I listen to regularly, but it's a very interesting story and artist. This dude makes all of his own instruments and creates orchestras with those instruments to make a truly one of a kid sound. It's well worth a listen! It's especially fun to play with Jonathan in the room because he flips the fuck out.
