Workday Review : Proclamation, Contaminated & more

Spent the long holiday weekend drunk with my best friends in the mountains riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, flipping my kayak, swimming and eating like a psychopath.  Hope yours was just as good but I'm sure it wasn't.

Proclamation - "Advent of the Black Omen" : That Ross Bay Cult shit, you already know what it is.  Or maybe you don't...listen to Blasphemy first.

Contaminated - "Final Man" : Abhorrence worship from somewhere not even close to Finland, but with better production so there's less to complain about.  Absolutely crushing.

Blood Urn - "Of Gory Sorcery and Death" : If Archgoat and Demoncy were more into death metal and less into face paint, they would've formed Blood Urn.

Wormridden - "Infesting the Grave/Festering Glorification" : Mental Funeral-era worship from the guys in Undergang and Anatomia.  The production on this alone makes me feel like I dove headfirst into a swamp.  Had this come out 20/25 years ago, this would be essential listening.

Cosmic Void Ritual - "Gateways Through Septic Flesh" : Demo of the year.  Extremely raw USDM with a Demilich/Blood Incantation vibe.  My only gripe with this band is their weak ass logo, otherwise this is practically perfect.  Cannot wait for the LP.
